HISTORY

Digital Transformation Center (DTC) was established on October 26,2023

Under the auspices of Information and Communication Technology Research Center Institute Technology Bandung (PPTIK ITB) then scaled up under PUI Pustekhan ITB, led by Dr. Techn. Ary Setiadji Prihatmanto.

Following its establishment, DTC successfully engaged with several vendors interested in mutual development. DTC involves numerous research centers and currently holds the status of the IPTEC Center of Excellence at the national level. This initiative is expected to become the main axis for digital transformation in Indonesia, connecting the government, state-owned enterprises, institutions, and industries into a dynamic ecosystem. In an era of rapid technological progress, DTC ITB is taking a bold step by adopting a holistic approach to digital transformation. This is based on the hope of ushering in a wave of positive change, playing a key role in building understanding and facilitating knowledge exchange among key stakeholders for the impact on Indonesian society.

DTC ITB is also open to collaborating with industries, other entities, and universities. Right now, DTC works within the Center of Excellence for Knowledge and Technology and the ITB Defense Technology Center, aiming to strengthen Indonesia’s digital resilience. LAPI ITB is also involved as one of the founders of DTC, with all current commercialization efforts remaining under LAPI ITB’s business purview. However, in the future, DTC will evolve into its own entity, focusing on consultancy, community, and academia.

We are dedicated to making technology that can improve everyday life, businesses, and society as a whole, with a focus on coming up with new ideas. 3. Develop and communicate suitable strategies for achieving digital transformation efforts at both individual and company levels. Leverage the use of digital technology to increase efficiency, productivity, and flexibility by providing suggestions and assistance. We make sure that every step we take adds value and helps long-term growth by combining digital transformation processes.

We establish ourself as a service organization branching out from ITB Institution, a leading technology academic institution in Indonesia. DTC (Digital Transformation Center) is positioned to bridge the distance between industry and ITB. We intend to bring-up ITB expertise to the industry as a industry resource to address the needs and wants of the specific industry in its effort in digital transformation.

We line up our resources and expertise from our own internal ITB resources and a mixed network of practitioners from our technology and business partners.
